Hector Cifuentes is an Artist born in Bogota, Colombia. His early school years were spent at the Colegio San Carlos and The English School in Bogota, Colombia.

He lived most of his life in Bogota and went to different parts of Brazil to learn Bossanova and Samba styles. He went to the U.S. in order to learn Contemporary Styles as a Guitarist, and as a Musician he studied Classical and Contemporary Guitar Performance at the Sinfonica Juvenil de Colombia, the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, and Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts U.S., in which he was awarded a ‘BEST’ Scholarship (BEST ENTERING STUDENT TALENT) in 1994.

He enjoys Composing Music, Painting, making Photography and Video, as part of his full development into the Arts and Humanities. Plants and Animals are part of his source of Inspiration and a Lab of Profound Scientific wealth of knowledge as he states. He is definitively an Intellectual Bohemian. Entrepreneur part Autodidact and Intense Researcher in the Arts.

Hector Cifuentes works as a Language Interpreter for International Summit Events. He is in charge of all details as an Executive Manager and Interpreter. His prime languages are English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and French. He has organized hundreds of International Summit Events in all of Colombia.

He has recorded Rock, Pop, Jazz, Bossanova, and Samba tracks, mostly for Colombian and Brazilian shows, and Recording Studios as a Guitarist. Hector has had several bands during his life in Colombia, Brazil and the U.S. He was a Guitar Instructor for 12 years, and during that time he had the great privilege of teaching some 1,500 Colombian, Brazilian, and U.S. musicians. Some of his students turned to be highly recognized Artists in the Global Arts Scene, and they enjoy a fine world-round reputation as Music Directors, Film Scorers, Professional Artists, and Writers, some of which have achieved Grand International Award recognitions.

Hector Cifuentes continues to develop his Artistry in some of these mentioned artistic fields. He is well into the research of Meditation Arts, and spiritual self-knowledge orientated toward music. He works together with Opera Companies and International artists in the Contemporary Arts. One of his beloved interests is the study and research of colored-music-melodic-phraseology. He enjoys speaking in frequency he states. He is entirely committed to the Fine Art World.
